001. BTC AND ETH TRADE MIXED IN EARLY ASIA.
Bitcoin changed hands around $81,000–$81,519, with 24-hour moves ranging from +0.04% according to TokenPost to -0.93% according to HTX. Ethereum was near $2,416, up about 0.27%; CoinMarketCap data showed BTC with a market cap of about $1.6386 trillion, 24-hour volume of about $11.5 billion, and a range of $81,084–$81,712. This matters because buying pressure has not been strong enough to push price above resistance near $82,500, while support near $81,000 is being tested.
2. DERIVATIVE VOLUME DROPS SHARPLY.
Twenty-four-hour crypto derivatives volume reached $323.15 billion, down 56.80%; stablecoin volume reached $43.53 billion, down 47.01%; and DeFi volume reached $7.62 billion, down 32.49%. Altcoin market cap stood at $1.0922 trillion with volume of $29.50 billion. The sharp contraction suggests leveraged traders are stepping back rather than adding exposure, leaving the market in a narrow band.
3. LONG LIQUIDATIONS SURGE IN UPDATES.
CoinGlass recorded 24-hour liquidations for the top 20 assets at $40.12 million, with longs at $24.13 million and shorts at $15.98 million. In one hour up to 06:34 KST, Binance, Bybit and OKX alone saw $91.53 million liquidated, with longs accounting for $74.71 million and shorts $16.82 million; ETH led with $14.6 million, followed by BTC at $10.52 million and SOXS at $8.62 million. The imbalance shows leveraged buyers were forced out as prices failed to hold early gains, raising short-term volatility risk.
4. SOL AND ZEC SHOW CONFLICTING DATA.
CoinGlass reported Solana up 0.59% over 24 hours, but Binance spot data cited by Pluang showed SOL down 2.32% to $102, with $8.6 million in long liquidations and a market cap near $61.2 billion. Zcash was similarly split: CoinGlass showed +0.74%, while Binance spot recorded a 2.64% drop to $1,117, with a market cap near $19.39 billion. These differences make single-exchange readings unreliable for judging the real trend today.
5. MARKET CAP AND BTC DOMINANCE STEADY.
Total crypto market cap was $2.7305 trillion, with 24-hour volume of $40.86 billion. Bitcoin dominance held at 60.00% and Ethereum dominance at 10.81%; stablecoin market cap was $282.44 billion. Capital remains concentrated in BTC, so altcoins have not yet built an independent trend.
