1. BITCOIN FAILS TO CLEAR $87,000 RESISTANCE
Bitcoin traded weakly around the $85,000 area. By CoinMarketCap data, BTC was $85,544.66, down 0.41% in 24 hours; Coin360 reported $85,585, down 0.42%. BTC dominance stood at 58.90%, and total crypto market capitalization was $2.93 trillion, down 0.51% from the previous day. The $87,000 area continued to act as a psychological barrier, keeping gains in check despite supportive moves in broader risk assets.

2. ETH, SOL AND MAJOR ALTCOINS EDGE LOWER
ETH fell 0.69% to $2,696.26; XRP dropped 0.74% to $1.49; BNB declined 1.09%. SOL was down 0.04% to $121, according to Coin360. The declines were relatively narrow, suggesting the market is waiting for fresh cues rather than offloading positions broadly.

3. ALTCOIN FLOWS SPLIT IN BOTH DIRECTIONS
Some tokens bucked the general trend: OKB advanced 5.32% to $137 and AVAX rose 4.61% to $12. On the losing side, UNI fell 4.32% to $8.61, HYPE lost 3.01% to $92, and DOGE declined 2.58% to $0.09. The divergence suggests short-term capital is rotating into individual narratives rather than following a uniform market direction.

4. KOREAN EXCHANGES SHOW NARROW PREMIUM
On Bithumb, BTC traded around 115.9 million KRW, down 0.69%; ETH fell 0.46% to 3.652 million KRW; SOL declined 0.30% to 163,600 KRW. On Upbit, BTC stood at 115.66 million KRW, down 0.29%; ETH fell 0.33% to 3.653 million KRW. The kimchi premium was measured near 1.12%, indicating only a modest gap between Korean and global platforms.

5. POSITIVE MACRO BACKDROP OFFSET BY GEOPOLITICAL RISK
The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield fell to 5.28% on October 6, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit record highs. Market pricing implied a roughly 19% probability of a Federal Reserve rate increase in October. However, Middle East tensions, including reported attacks on vessels near the Strait of Hormuz, kept risk appetite subdued. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose 3 points to 73, reflecting Greed without extreme euphoria.
