1. BITCOIN TRADES NEAR $80,000 AFTER ELECTION UNCERTAINTY.
Bitcoin was quoted around $80,059–$80,872 in early Seoul trading on November 5, up 3.07–3.94% in 24 hours depending on the source. The price had briefly fallen toward $75,600–$76,000 before final US midterm results became clear. A Democratic sweep of the House and Senate removed political uncertainty, helping risk appetite recover and pushing Bitcoin back above the $80,000 mark.

2. ETH LEADS MAJOR ALTCOIN REBOUND.
ETH traded around $2,417–$2,440, gaining 5.46–6.46% in 24 hours according to morning pricing data. BNB, XRP and SOL also rose roughly 1.2–3.2%, with SOL quoted near $94.94–$96. The broad move into large-cap altcoins suggests improving risk appetite after the US election outcome was settled, rather than a rise concentrated only in Bitcoin.

3. HYPE FALLS AGAINST THE MARKET.
HYPE slipped 1.98–3.09% over 24 hours, trading around $83.37–$84 depending on the snapshot, standing out in red while most coins were green. The token, which had drawn attention during earlier volatility, faced profit-taking as money rotated back into major cryptocurrencies. TRX also traded slightly below $0.32, down 0.83–0.95% depending on the time.

4. SHORT LIQUIDATIONS SPIKE; ETF OUTFLOWS REMAIN.
CoinGlass data cited by multiple outlets showed 24-hour short liquidations above $500 million, and roughly $378.09 million in short positions were liquidated in one hour as Bitcoin reclaimed $80,000, about 81% of total hourly liquidations. Another count put 24-hour derivatives liquidations at $998 million. Separately, US spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $1.16 billion in outflows over the previous three trading days, indicating institutional flows still need more confirmation.

5. MACRO BACKDROP LIFTS RISK ASSETS, OIL DROPS.
On November 4, the Dow rose 3.03% to 53,356.12, the S&P 500 added 1.58% to 7,688.62, and the Nasdaq gained 1.44% to 25,736.51. WTI crude fell 8.29% to $88.12 a barrel and Brent dropped 8.67% to $94.62. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index improved to 34 from 26, still in fear territory but reflecting better sentiment. Lower energy costs and stock gains supported the crypto rebound, though ETF flows remain a key watch item.

What to watch today: US trading on November 5 and whether spot bitcoin ETF outflows reverse after three sessions totaling $1.16 billion.
