Gen Z Designer Pham Tran Thu Hang Merges Modern Fashion with Traditional Vietnamese Water Puppetry

The intersection of heritage and contemporary design took center stage at the Water Puppet Theater of Vietnam, where Gen Z fashion designer Pham Tran Thu Hang debuted her groundbreaking solo fashion show. It is inspired by Vietnamese folklore, myths, and supernatural tales compiled in the book "Ma quy dan gian Ky" (Tales of Folk Demons) by author Duy Van. The designs in this collection feature dramatic shapes, deep textures, and an enigmatic atmosphere that beautifully captures the mystical side of Vietnamese folk culture.
