Thien Nhan Returns to Music: Overcoming Health Struggles and Body Confidence

After a two-year hiatus following a highly publicized family drama, Thien Nhan, the winner of the first season of 'The Voice Kids Vietnam,' has officially returned to the music scene with her new MV titled 'Thi Kinh.' At 22 years old, the singer appeared at her recent press conference looking more mature, but she also opened up about the significant physical and emotional challenges she faced during her time away. Thien Nhan revealed that stress led to uncontrolled weight gain, with her weight peaking at 76kg, a stark contrast to her previous 49kg.

During her break, Thien Nhan turned to food, particularly sweets and chocolate, as a coping mechanism for her sadness and stress. This led to serious health complications, including high blood sugar, fatty liver, and frequent fainting spells that required hospitalization. Realizing that her health and her career were at risk, she embarked on a grueling weight loss journey. By practicing aerobics at home, jumping rope, and staying constantly active, she managed to drop to 58kg. She admitted that she still feels sensitive about her weight, but she is determined to present a polished and professional version of herself to the fans who have supported her for over a decade.

Thien Nhan also clarified her current relationships within the industry. Despite rumors, she remains on good terms with her mentors, the power couple Cam Ly and Minh Vy, and still sends them greetings on special occasions. Addressing comparisons with fellow 'The Voice Kids' star Phuong My Chi, Thien Nhan expressed only happiness for her peer’s success, stating that every artist has their own path. While she has temporarily paused her studies at the Conservatory of Music to focus on business and her comeback, Thien Nhan is now looking toward a more positive future, leaving the 'stormy' past behind to focus on her artistic evolution.
