00Toyota Vietnam has officially announced a significant price adjustment for its flagship sedan, the Toyota Vios, effective from March 1st. With a price reduction ranging from 21 million to 47 million VND, the Vios is positioning itself to reclaim its throne as the best-selling car in the market. The new starting price of just 458 million VND makes it a formidable competitor not only in the B-segment but also poses a challenge to A-segment cars, offering premium features at a much more accessible price point.
The updated pricing sees the Vios E MT at 458 million VND, the E CVT at 488 million VND, and the top-of-the-line G CVT at 545 million VND. Despite the lower price, Toyota has not compromised on the 'core values' that have made the Vios a household name for 20 years: durability, fuel efficiency, and high resale value. The 2023 model features a modern exterior with LED projector headlamps and a refreshed grille, making it particularly attractive to younger buyers and female drivers. Inside, the G CVT version boasts a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, paddle shifters, and automatic climate control.
Safety remains a standout feature for the Vios. It is one of the few in its class to offer 7 airbags and the Toyota Safety Sense suite, which includes Pre-Collision System (PCS) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA). To celebrate International Women's Day, Toyota dealerships across Vietnam are also hosting special events for female customers, including free nail care, skin consultations, and safe driving workshops. With these strategic price cuts and community-focused promotions, the Toyota Vios is set to dominate the sales charts in the first half of 2024, proving why it remains the 'national car' for Vietnamese families.
