The Vietnamese automotive community has been buzzing with questions regarding the fate of several multi-billion VND supercars following the arrest of luxury car mogul Phan Cong Khanh. Known for importing some of the rarest vehicles into Vietnam, Khanh's showroom on Tran Hung Dao Street (HCMC) was once home to automotive masterpieces. However, since the legal proceedings began, several high-profile cars like the Lamborghini Huracan EVO and the McLaren Senna GTR have seemingly vanished from the public eye. These vehicles represent the pinnacle of engineering and luxury, with price tags that reach into the millions of dollars.

One of the most notable 'missing' cars is the grey Lamborghini Huracan EVO AWD. Imported in 2021, this V10-powered beast produces 630 horsepower and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Despite being one of only two such models in the country, it remained unsold for years. Another legend is the McLaren Senna GTR, a track-only version of the already rare Senna. With only 75 units produced worldwide and an estimated value of $1.5 million (approx. 35 billion VND), its disappearance has sparked intense speculation. As a track car, it cannot be registered for street use in Vietnam, making its ownership and location even more mysterious.

Additionally, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 with a Squadra Corse upgrade has also gone off the radar. This car was one of the first to bring Phan Cong Khanh fame in the car enthusiast world. While some reports suggest it was sold to a buyer in Hanoi at a significantly reduced price, it hasn't been seen on the streets since. The 'disappearance' of these vehicles highlights the volatility of the high-end car market during legal controversies. For car collectors and enthusiasts in the US and Europe, where these models are highly coveted, the situation in Vietnam serves as a fascinating, albeit cautionary, tale of the luxury automotive trade.
