00The Vietnamese entertainment market has always been highly welcoming to international talents, but few have left as lasting an impression as Shin Jin Ju from South Korea and Nene (Pornnppan Pornpenpipat) from Thailand. Both rose to fame in Vietnam thanks to their beautiful vocals, stunning visuals, and impressive ability to sing fluently in Vietnamese. Today, both stars have moved on to new chapters in their careers and personal lives, continuing to find success across Asia.
Shin Jin Ju (born 1994) first won the hearts of Vietnamese audiences through her viral cover videos of popular V-pop hits. Her journey was backed by solid dedication, having spent four years studying the Vietnamese language at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. In 2021, Jin Ju surprised her fans by announcing her marriage to the famous South Korean music producer Krazy Park, the creative mind behind major hits for groups like T-ara and Sistar, as well as Vietnamese stars Chi Pu and Soobin Hoang Son. Since her marriage, Jin Ju has focused on her family life in Korea, but she has recently begun making a welcome return to artistic activities in Vietnam with the full support of her husband.
Nene Pornnppan Pornpenpipat (born 1997) achieved widespread recognition in Vietnam when she starred as the female lead Christie in Ly Hai's blockbuster movie 'Lat Mat 3' (Face Off 3). Her sweet voice and fluent Vietnamese covers of songs like 'Em gai mua' and 'Anh cu di di' earned her millions of views. Looking to expand her horizons, Nene participated in the Chinese survival show 'Chuang 2020' (Produce Camp 2020), successfully debuting in the popular C-pop group BonBon Girls 303. Over the years, Nene has transitioned from her initial 'sweet girl' image to a highly sophisticated, mature, and glamorous artist, currently focusing on her flourishing music and acting career in her home country of Thailand.
