Da Nang Student Wins Road to Mount Olympia Weekly Competition

The latest broadcast of the prestigious academic competition 'Road to Mount Olympia' (Đường lên đỉnh Olympia Year 24) delivered an incredibly tense and thrilling match. Four talented high school students competed for the coveted laurel wreath: Tran Khanh Dung (Thai Nguyen), Bùi Tuan Tu (Ha Noi), Dinh Thuy Ngan (Phu Tho), and Nguyen Thanh Phuong from the Le Quy Don Gifted High School in Da Nang. Ultimately, it was Thanh Phuong who demonstrated exceptional knowledge, speed, and composure to claim a spectacular victory with 350 points.

The competition began with a lively Warm-up (Khởi động) round, where Thanh Phuong quickly established an early lead, finishing the round with 90 points. In the Obstacle Course (Vượt chướng ngại vật) round, Thanh Phuong and Thuy Ngan both raced to solve the hidden puzzle. By correctly identifying 'Trang Quynh' as the key phrase, Thanh Phuong secured a commanding score of 150 points, keeping him at the front of the pack.

However, the Acceleration (Tăng tốc) round saw a fierce comeback from Bùi Tuan Tu. The Hanoi student showcased lightning-fast reflexes, answering questions in under a second and closing the gap to just 5 points behind Thanh Phuong. The final Finishing (Về đích) round became a strategic battle. Despite the intense pressure from Tuan Tu, Thanh Phuong remained calm, capitalized on his opponents' missed questions to gain additional points, and confidently crossed the finish line with a grand total of 350 points, securing his well-deserved victory and the admiration of viewers nationwide.
