At the foot of Phoenix Mountain in Ninh Hoa, a remarkable transformation has taken place. What was once a barren thung lũng Suối Mơ characterized by dry soil and harsh winds has been reborn as a thriving green ecosystem known as 'The Moshav Farm.' This 56-hectare project is the brainchild of four young entrepreneurs—Nguyen Manh Tien, Nguyen Ta Dong, Truong Hoang Nam, and Pham Minh Thong—who returned from agricultural studies in Israel with a vision to revolutionize Vietnamese farming.

Starting in 2018, the group faced immense challenges. The land was severely degraded from years of monoculture sugarcane farming and chemical herbicide use. Applying the 'Israel model' of high-tech agriculture, the team implemented advanced drip irrigation and misting systems. They prioritized soil health, adding hundreds of tons of organic fertilizer and allowing natural grass to grow to maintain moisture. This sustainable approach has turned the arid landscape into a diverse farm featuring coconut trees, grapefruit, grapes, and various medicinal herbs, alongside livestock like sheep, deer, and ostriches.

The Moshav Farm isn't just about growing crops; it’s about creating high-value processed products. By utilizing cold-drying and heat-drying technologies, they produce organic goods like herbal steam bags, ginger powder, and eco-friendly detergents made from soapberries. Their herbal steam bags alone have become a market hit, generating significant revenue and proving that sustainable farming can be highly profitable. This 'short-term to support long-term' strategy has allowed the farm to expand from its original 10 hectares to its current size.

Beyond its economic success, The Moshav Farm is a catalyst for community growth. They provide stable employment for 40 local residents and offer free English classes for children in the area. By demonstrating the success of modern techniques, they have inspired local farmers like Mr. Pham Cao Tri to switch from traditional sugarcane to high-value fruit trees and livestock. The farm also serves as a hub for university interns, training the next generation of 'tech-savvy' farmers. The Moshav Farm stands as a beacon of hope for sustainable agriculture in Vietnam, showing that with passion, technology, and respect for nature, even the most arid lands can be brought back to life.
