As the Lunar New Year (Tet) approaches, the festive spirit is felt across Vietnam, and beloved local celebrities are no exception. On February 8th, Vietnamese stars took to social media to share their intimate, heartwarming, and busy preparations for the biggest holiday of the year, giving fans a delightful look into how they celebrate traditional customs.

Among the highlights was legendary pop icon My Tam (Mỹ Tâm), who happily maintained her annual family tradition. Known for her down-to-earth personality, My Tam was spotted hand-wrapping 'bánh tét' (traditional cylindrical sticky rice cakes) and stirring sweet coconut jam over an open fire. For the singer, these cozy moments spent cooking with family are the true essence of welcoming the New Year. Meanwhile, Miss Universe Vietnam H'Hen Niê shared her enthusiastic house-cleaning journey. Having just returned to her hometown, she jokingly noted that while everyone else might have finished their holiday shopping, she was just getting started with sweeping and decorating her family home.

Other stars embraced the aesthetic beauty of the season. Actress Quynh Kool (Quỳnh Kool) stunned fans by posing in a pristine white 'áo dài,' radiating elegance and youthful charm. Her gentle photos perfectly captured the serene, hopeful atmosphere of the spring season. On the other hand, pregnant actress Lan Phuong (Lan Phương), despite being in the final months of her pregnancy, showed incredible energy as she finished up her last-minute holiday shopping, earning praise from fans for her radiant and glowing appearance.

Of course, the holiday season also means busy work schedules for some. Popular MC Hoai Anh (Hoài Anh) shared photos from her bustling studio, where she and her team worked tirelessly to record special Tet broadcasts. Couples like Gin Tuan Kiet and Puka also shared cheerful photos as they traveled back to their hometowns to celebrate their first Tet together as a married couple. However, the pre-holiday rush wasn't without its challenges, as veteran actor NSND Trung Anh humorously lamented contracting COVID-19 right before the festivities. These diverse stories of warmth, hard work, and tradition show that no matter how famous they are, Vietnamese stars cherish the same simple joys of family, heritage, and renewal during Tet.
