Believing that the honest farmer tricked him, the angry neighbor seals the jar and secretly places it in the farmer's house, hoping the snakes will bite and kill him as revenge.

But fate works in mysterious ways. When the honest farmer opens the jar inside his home, the snakes instantly transform back into beautiful, solid gold coins. This miraculous event symbolizes the concept of karma: what was a deadly poison to the greedy man became a life-changing reward for the honest soul. The tale of 'Chum vàng, chum rắn' remains a staple of children's literature, teaching young minds that honesty and contentment bring true wealth, while greed and malice only lead to self-destruction.
