The first day of the Lunar New Year (Mung 1 Tet) is a highly anticipated occasion for Vietnamese celebrities to showcase their stunning traditional Ao Dai designs. This year, local fashion brands dominated the holiday scene, with the trendy 'bi ngan hong' (spider lily pink) color palette emerging as the absolute favorite. From elegant silk drapes to intricate modern modifications, these designs highlight the creative vitality of Vietnam's local fashion industry and the timeless elegance of the national costume.

One of the most sought-after Ao Dai designs this Tet was the 'Diep Lan' model by the popular local brand Xeo Xo. This exquisite piece caught the attention of top stars like Minh Tu, Phuong Ly, and Dong Nhi. The 'Diep Lan' design stands out with its unique sequined (kin sa) fabric for the main gown, paired beautifully with soft, flowing synthetic silk pants. The delicate floral embellishments add a touch of feminine charm, making it an instant hit for holiday celebrations.

Other notable celebrities also opted for local brands to celebrate the new year. Miss World Vietnam Bao Ngoc looked radiant in a colorful, butterfly-sleeved Ao Dai from The Blue Tshirt, priced at 1349k. Meanwhile, Runner-up Phuong Anh chose a sophisticated pinkish-purple, loose-fit Ao Dai from Lalin, featuring elegant embossed floral patterns. Actress Kha Ngan turned heads in a luxurious brocade piece from Ha Cuc, blending traditional silhouettes with vibrant modern colors. Phi Phuong Anh also joined the trend, wearing a gorgeous pink Ao Dai with embossed details from Xeo Xo, valued at 3300k. Celebrities like Diem My, Do Ha, and Thuy Ngan (who wore Lalin's 'Yen Nghi' design priced at 2850k) also showcased their unique styles, proving that local brands are the ultimate choice for modern Tet fashion.
