The annual Phu My Hung Spring Flower Street in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, has officially opened, drawing thousands of eager visitors to its scenic lakeside pathway. Stretching over 700 meters along the beautiful Ton Dat Tien street next to the Crescent Lake, this year’s flower street is designed around the heartwarming theme of 'Spring Reunion' (Xuan Sum Vay). It perfectly captures the spirit of family gatherings, traditional values, and hope for a prosperous year ahead.

At the entrance of the flower street, visitors are greeted by a magnificent 3-meter-tall installation of the Dragon God and the Fairy, holding a giant nest of one hundred eggs, a beautiful nod to the Vietnamese creation myth of Lac Long Quan and Au Co. Further down the path, a spectacular 50-meter-long dragon replica winds its way through lush, colorful flower beds. The street also features nostalgic, rustic displays of the Vietnamese countryside, including miniature green rice fields, blooming yellow mustard fields, and traditional wooden boats filled with spring blossoms.

In addition to the stunning floral arrangements, the event features a vibrant calligrapher street (Pho Ong Do) where visitors can request lucky red banners to hang in their homes. Families, couples, and groups of friends dressed in elegant traditional Ao Dai gather to stroll along the lake, take photos, and enjoy the cool breeze. The Phu My Hung Spring Flower Street is open to the public for free until February 13th (the 4th day of Tet), making it one of the premier holiday destinations in Saigon.
