Love knows no bounds, and a beautiful, heart-warming story has recently emerged from the mountainous region of Nghe An, Vietnam. A same-sex couple, Luong Van Ha and Danh Quao, recently celebrated their wedding, marking a significant and joyous milestone for the local community.

The couple’s journey began in early 2020 when they met on TikTok. Bonding over shared experiences and long conversations about their families and their lives as part of the LGBT community, the two quickly formed a deep connection. After finishing university, they chose to move to Binh Duong to work as factory employees, allowing them to bridge the geographical distance and start a life together.

After a period of dating, the couple decided to take the next step and tie the knot. Their wedding was held in Tien Phong Commune, Que Phong District, Nghe An—the hometown of Luong Van Ha. This was a unique and historic event for the rural area, and to the couple’s delight, they were met with warm wishes and support from neighbors and villagers alike.

For Luong Van Ha, the journey to this day was not without its challenges, particularly when it came to his family. 'At first, my parents were shocked and saddened when they found out I loved a man,' Ha shared.
