00The prestigious GQ Men of the Year 2023 event (Thinh Dien GQ 2023) held in Zhejiang, China, was a spectacular celebration of style, creativity, and high fashion. Set against the scenic and romantic backdrop of an ancient river, the star-studded event challenged guests to express themselves through bold and unique fashion statements under the theme 'State of Mind.' Among the many celebrities who graced the red carpet, Chinese actresses Mao Xiaotong and Yang Chaoyue stole the spotlight, turning heads in breathtaking gowns designed by the Vietnamese bridal and evening wear brand, Hacchic Couture.
Both actresses entrusted their red-carpet looks to the talented Vietnamese designer Tra Linh, the creative force behind Hacchic Couture. According to the designer, representatives and top stylists for both Mao Xiaotong and Yang Chaoyue reached out directly to secure these exclusive custom creations for the high-profile event. This collaboration highlights the growing global influence of Vietnamese designers on international red carpets.
Mao Xiaotong, famous for her role in the hit drama 'Nothing But Thirty,' chose an exquisite nude-toned, translucent mermaid gown from Hacchic Couture's 'We Are Roses' collection. The dress featured a meticulously crafted 3D corset bodice that accentuated her slender waist and elegant curves. Adorned with delicate hanging crystal tassels and intricate embroidery, the gown combined classic Hollywood glamour with modern sophistication. Mao Xiaotong completed her look with matching sparkling jewelry, exuding a timeless, cinematic charm that perfectly suited the grandeur of the evening.
On the other hand, Yang Chaoyue, known for her angelic beauty, looked like a real-life princess in a dreamy white gown. Her dress featured a modern twist on a classic off-the-shoulder silhouette, decorated with elaborate hand-embroidered details. The highlight of her ensemble was a dramatic, sweeping train made of sheer white tulle that flowed gracefully behind her as she walked down the red carpet, creating a soft, ethereal aesthetic.
Designer Tra Linh expressed her immense pride and joy in seeing her creations worn by some of the biggest names in the Chinese entertainment industry. Over her ten-year career, Tra Linh and Hacchic Couture have achieved remarkable success, showcasing collections at Shanghai Fashion Week and dressing international icons such as Fan Bingbing, Mai Davika, Baifern Pimchanok, Yang Zi, and Liu Yifei. With plans to expand further into the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, Hacchic Couture continues to elevate Vietnamese fashion on the global stage.
