00SkyGarden House is a breathtaking townhouse located in the coastal city of Nha Trang, designed by architect Pham Huu Son. Despite being built on a non-square 100m2 plot, the house is a masterpiece of spatial planning and green integration. The design philosophy centers on creating a 'Sky Garden'—a vertical paradise that brings nature into every room. The ground floor contains the living room, kitchen, and one bedroom, while the upper floors house additional private quarters, including a luxurious master suite on the top level. All spaces are seamlessly connected by a central void and a light-filled staircase.
One of the most impressive aspects of SkyGarden House is its commitment to natural lighting. Large glass panels and a massive skylight above the stairs flood the interior with sunshine, creating an ever-changing play of light and shadow. This design drastically reduces the need for artificial lighting during the day. The living room is uniquely surrounded by a swimming pool, which not only adds a touch of luxury but also helps cool the air entering the house. Reflective glass is used strategically to enhance the aesthetic appeal while expanding the visual boundaries of the home, making the 100m2 space feel much larger and more open.
Architect Pham Huu Son prioritized environmental health by placing greenery in strategic locations, including around the bedrooms and even the bathrooms. These 'mini-gardens' act as natural air filters, reducing dust and improving air quality while providing a soothing view for the occupants. The master bedroom, in particular, feels like a high-end resort suite with its panoramic views of the surrounding greenery. SkyGarden House stands as a symbol of modern Vietnamese architecture—minimalist, luxurious, and deeply connected to the environment. It offers a perfect solution for high-density urban living, proving that even on a challenging plot, one can create a sustainable and peaceful sanctuary.
