On March 4, the Mobile Police Command (CSCĐ) under the Ministry of Public Security officially launched the 2024 training course for over 16,000 new recruits performing their national service duties. This year's intake is notable not only for its size but also for its high quality, with a significant number of recruits already holding degrees from various universities and colleges. The opening ceremony, which also included a tree-planting movement for a 'Green Vietnam,' marks the beginning of a rigorous three-month journey designed to transform these young citizens into disciplined members of the People's Public Security force.

During the intensive 90-day program, the recruits will be stationed at 19 different locations across 61 provinces and cities. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering fundamental military knowledge, martial arts, and specialized tactical maneuvers. Beyond combat skills, the new soldiers will receive training in essential public safety duties, including firefighting, search and rescue operations, and the proficient use of various weapons and specialized equipment. Major General Le Ngoc Chau, Commander of the Mobile Police, emphasized that the goal is to build a strong physical foundation and a strict sense of discipline, ensuring that every recruit is capable of completing any assigned task upon graduation.

Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, addressed the recruits, highlighting that performing national service in the police force is both a responsibility and a great honor. He urged the young soldiers to uphold the spirit of 'Wherever the youth are needed, they will be there; whatever is difficult, the youth will do.' Following the ceremony, the recruits immediately began their first lessons, ranging from basic drills to complex tactical formations. This training phase is a critical component of Vietnam's strategy to maintain public order and national security, ensuring that the next generation of police officers is well-prepared, professional, and dedicated to serving the community.
