00MARKET SNAPSHOT
1. BTC HOLDS THE $84,800–$85,000 AREA. Bitcoin traded around $84,809.89 on CoinMarketCap, up 1.53% in 24 hours, while OKX and Gate.io printed $85,003.7 and $85,000, up 1.01% and 0.93%, respectively. The convergence near the psychological $85,000 level suggests buyers are still active during Asian hours.
2. ETH AND SOL EDGE HIGHER; HYPE LAGS. Ethereum changed hands between $2,698.52 and $2,704.32, up 0.69–1.14%; Solana added 0.73%, XRP 0.80%, Dogecoin 0.79% and BNB 0.51%. In contrast, Hyperliquid fell 1.47% and Tron lost 0.52%, signaling uneven capital rotation across major assets.
3. DERIVATIVES LIQUIDATIONS SKEW LONG. 24-hour derivatives volume came in at $787.53 billion, down 9.70% from the previous day. Total liquidations across the top 20 assets reached $117.9 million, with longs accounting for 54.30%; Bitcoin alone saw $37.2 million liquidated, 67% of which were shorts. The $85,000 zone is triggering sharp moves on both sides of leverage.
4. MARKET SENTIMENT REMAINS GREEDY. The Fear & Greed Index climbed to 74 from 71, staying in Greed territory. In Korean markets, Bitcoin traded at 115.3 million KRW (+1.4%) and Ethereum at 3.68 million KRW (+0.6%), though only 30 of 54 major coins rose, indicating the recovery is not yet broad-based.
5. TOTAL MARKET CAP STEADY NEAR $2.89 TRILLION. The crypto market cap reached $2.8851 trillion, with 24-hour spot volume of $93.23 billion. Healthy overall scale persists even as derivatives activity cools from the prior session.
What to watch today: Whether Bitcoin can hold the $85,000 area during the US session as long-liquidations subside.
